Welcome to my blog! My name is David. I reside in Lexington, Kentucky and I am just a guy who loves music. For the longest time, I just love talking and sharing music of all shapes and colors to anyone. Because of this, a friend convinced me to start this blog. So, the purpose of A Lot on My Crate is kind of just helping me scratch that itch, but I am very earnest when it comes to wanting to support artists who have given me so much joy in their art. I have series, such as “Songs of the Day” and “Why You Should Spin” that goes into songs I am into, or albums. I will be talking about the present and the past and share some experiences or afterthoughts in my mind. I also pride in how diverse my picks have been as I love most genres and will be talking about any song/album on here. Since writing about these, I’ve not only appreciated the craft more and more, but it made me look into their background of the artists and the songwriting. There are so many other facets to look into this that makes writing so enriching. I am so ecstatic for the future and what this page will look like the next upcoming years.
